Six Reasons to Hire Me

1

Fair Flat Rate Pricing – Unlike other developers who keep you guessing what the final cost of your project will be, I put my price in plain view…right up front. That is the final price, whether your site takes me longer than I anticipated, or not. So, that means no nasty surprises for you, or your pocket.

2

I Answer My Phone – This shouldn’t be something a business should have to brag about, but I will. It seems that the more technology advances and we have more ways of communicated then ever before, the harder it has become to get a real person to answer. Unless my phone is out of hearing distance, I promise to always answer it.

3

I Work Weekends – Because I work from home, I don’t need to keep the weekends for pleasure only. I make my own schedule and often include project work on weekends. So, feel free to call me on a Saturday or Sunday.

4

Great Communication – I have excellent communication with my clients every step of the way. You will never have to wonder how your project is coming along and will get super fast responses to your messages.

5

Clear Detailed Proposal Agreement – My proposal agreements are clearly lined out on what will be done for you, as well as precise payment and timetable expectations.

6

I Love Dogs – Okay, so what does me loving dogs have to do with your project? Well, lots of clients have told me their web designer dissappeared or vanished and left them hanging. Since I am the president of a Non Profit organization for dogs, you can ALWAYS find me…not that I would go anywhere, anyway.

Six Steps to a New Website

1

Project Proposal & Agreement – After filling out the Get a Quote form, I will contact you to set up a meeting. Per your preference, we will meet via phone, video conference, in person or email communication. We will go over particulars and a Completed Project Timetable will be established and agreed upon. You will be supplied with a contract/proposal to sign. Upon signing it, a third of the total project amount will be due immediately in order to get the project started. The project will not start without payment.

2

Initial Content and Requests – Once project retainer is paid, you will be assigned a password protected page for your account. Here is where you will get all project status updates, as well as requests for certain bits of content, such as colors and copy. A text document outlining each page and it’s content should be sent, so I can start laying out your website pages the way you want them. Your account page will contain a form where you can upload images, documents and messages to me very easily and quickly. There will also be a “To Do” list for both of us, where you can easily view what is still needed in order for the project to be finished. To view a demo of what the account page looks like, please view our Sample Client Page.

3

First Review – When your site is ready for your first review, you will receive an email from me with a private link to your site. This link will also be available on your account page for your convenience. Once you review your site, you will send me your edits in a text document outlining each what you want changed on each page. Once your edits are received, a second installment equal to a third of the final price is now due. Once I receive your payment, I will continue making your requested changes to your site.

4

Second Review – Once I have made all your requested changes to your site, you will be notified of the second review. You will be given a few days to comb it thoroughly and check links and such. If you want anything added to your site, this is the time to add it. Please know if what you want to add is outside the scope of our agreement, additional fees may apply. Once you send me your final changes, I will continue on finishing your site and adding final elements to prepare it to go live.

5

Final Review & Launch – When all requested changes from the second review are made, you will be notified of the final review. Again, you will have a few days to do a thorough walkthrough to notify me of any possible errors that may exist. Once you approve, I will start preparing the switch over from my server to your chosen hosting company. The final third installment is now due and must be payable before the site goes live. Once final payment is made, your site will be live within the hour and fully propagated through the web within 24 hours.

6

Training & Maintenance – Because all my sites include a client admin panel, I will train you via webcast or in person how to edit and create new pages on your site. If there are any special custom modules, I will train you for that as well. I will give you 2 hours worth of training at no cost to you. That’s usually more than enough time to show you how it works. This training session must be used within 30 days from your site’s launch date. I will also offer any minor changes within the same 30 day period.
